The last hours in my homeland

So dear people, after an emotional farewell from the boys and Mama Meike at Cologne train station, we got on the ice train and luckily got a seat!

We also had to calm our nerves with a cigarette (sorry grandma & grandpa and dad 😅, please overlook this line). We calmly went to the airport but then the hustle and bustle began... it can't be without stress. The lady at the check-in counter quickly ripped our boarding passes as we had no proof of exit. So with trembling hands, we quickly booked a bus to Thailand, all within 5 minutes....

Then we sprinted to the gate, all sweaty, but we made it!

Tiredness is slowly kicking in, we hope there won't be any young children sitting near us, keep your fingers crossed, we will later tell you if we were lucky.
