155 days trip around the world - reunion with friends

Today was the beginning of a new chapter of our trip around the world - Africa. After almost 17 hours of traveling, we landed in Zanzibar this morning. The trip to Zanzibar was more pleasant than expected because our first flight was canceled and we got a much better alternative to our original flight. We were three hours faster and only had to change once. The airline also took over the transfer of our luggage.

After we moved into our accommodation and bought a SIM card, we met up with our friends Dennis and Annick. Our anticipation for both of them was huge! After 155 days of traveling around the world, we were finally able to hug familiar people again. That was incredibly good! The four of us spent the rest of the day. We went jet skiing together, drank cocktails on the beach and had dinner together in the evening. We had a lot to tell each other and the day went by far too quickly.
