On the way to our next stop, we first had to drive a little longer. Just like in Germany, there are always construction sites here. However, here you don't have the opportunity to drive too fast through the construction sites, we were actually escorted through the construction site by a construction vehicle. This sometimes resulted in longer waiting times, as the traffic was always one-sided.
In Ardmore, a small coastal town, we took a break. And to my great joy, there was finally something other than fried food. We also found Rapunzel's tower. But she was not at home and the prince was nowhere to be seen... From there, we walked along the cliff walk. Again, we were very lucky with the weather - during our walk, the sun was shining the whole time, so we could enjoy an absolutely fantastic view. It felt like being in a movie.
Our vacation home is located somewhere in the middle of nowhere with a magnificent view of the bay. Our host seemed a bit stressed and in a hurry, but we were warmly greeted by Layla and Louis, the house dogs.
In the evening, we drove to Cobh (pronounced Cove) and treated ourselves to a juicy Irish steak at the steakhouse.
