Day 36: Nerren Nerren - Cervantes (Pinnacles)

Апублікавана: 18.10.2018

Since it was already dark when we arrived yesterday, we didn't realize that the 24h rest area is quite large. We have breakfast and then we head south. We want to cover our daily distance as quickly as possible, as Samuel wants to go to the pool and we want to go to the Pinnacles.

We make good progress and everything is going well. The kids are behaving well and even sleeping a bit. We arrive in Cervantes around 1:30 pm. We make a detour to the Lobster Shack. There we have a large lobster for lunch. The kids prefer the playground over the seafood delicacy.

We already know the campsite from our first stop. Michi and the kids go for a swim in the pool, and I cook spaghetti with cheese sauce (which makes the three of them happier). We eat in the communal kitchen and then head to the Pinnacles. We really liked it there when we drove north. We want to take the opportunity to see the rock formations again at sunset. We have a nice evening there (despite billions of flies) and only return to the campsite in the dark. We have a quick snack for dinner. We're all pretty tired.
