Day 13: Taupo - Rotorua

The bus trip today won't be too long. Rotorua is only an hour away from Taupo. Upon arriving in Rotorua, I am almost attacked by greedy seagulls who want my sandwiches and tzatziki. But soon they become interested in something else and they leave me alone. Since it's too early to check in at my hotel, I spend some time by the lake. That lake is Lake Rotorua. After checking in, I feel hungry. I go in search of food and come across a Pak'n Save, a huge supermarket. I quickly find everything I need and return to my hotel, which I leave again in the evening to photograph the sunset.
