The adventure is about to begin

After a nearly 12-hour flight, an overnight in Heredia and a 5-hour bus ride, I have now arrived in Samara - fortunately without incident. Two girls and a boy from Switzerland have traveled to Samara with me to attend language school. This will definitely be a great time 😊

Sweaters and jackets will probably have to stay in the suitcase for a while. Flip flops, sunglasses, and hot pens are a must at 35 degrees ☀️🌡️

My host family, Kelly and Alfonso, are very accommodating and lovable. And Kelly cooks wonderfully 😍. For the first three weeks, I have a roommate from Solothurn. Then, as far as I understand with my Spanish skills, another Tanja will join us.

Now I am very excited to see what the first day of school will bring 📚
