The time with the boys was completely fine. The next day, I took a picture of all of them, chatted a bit, and then they left.
We liked the place so much that we decided to stay a little longer. Only on late Saturday, two more campers arrived.
On Sunday, we had to do some shopping, refill our water tank, you know, the usual stuff. Since we were already out and about, we decided to check out 2 other parking spots. The path to the last one was an adventure again, and when we finally reached the bottom, we knew we couldn't stay there. It would have been only one place, too tight and inconvenient for the few bathers who walk down here on foot.
So, we went back to our other little spot. Unfortunately, we took the wrong entrance and had a horror drive. Low trees = scratches, big rocks on the left and right. Simply annoying. I always feel so sorry for Rudi. In the evening, we sat together with Sarah, Timo, and their dog Lucky. They are 30 and have now taken a break of 2 months again. (Job change, vacation, and overtime) 😂 In 2014, they traveled around the world for 14 months with backpacks. One of their goals was to fly as little as possible. So, we had enough to talk about. Late in the evening, they mentioned almost casually that they got married on Friday. We then had another glass of sparkling wine. They were really sweet.
This morning, we said goodbye to the two of them, this wonderful parking spot, and ultimately also to the sea. It's a strange feeling after such a long time.
If there was a body of water in the morning, whether it was a river, lake, pool, or sea, I would go for a swim. You can get used to that.
Today, we're going to Slovenia. We've heard a lot about fines and checks regarding free camping in Slovenia, so we went directly to a campsite on the Soca.
