Stage 13 Pfunders - Kreuzwiesenalm

Every day here is basically the same. Look at the tour for tomorrow in the evening. Breakfast yes or no. How do I organize myself to leave the dorm or room as quietly as possible? But every day is beautiful, even if it sounds strange to some. The whole day in the fresh air and always beautiful landscapes, just my thing.

Be careful, I thought yesterday. The hiking guide said that orientation is required for this stage. I walked with the guys I shared the room with. Thank you two for taking me along.

We took the bus for the first 10 km, like many others. It was a good decision. We had to hike the altitude meters anyway. There was a steep ascent (1000m) through the Rodeneck Forest. When we arrived in Vintl, we first replenished our supplies for the next few days and withdrew cash. Here I forgot my poles again. Luckily, Jan noticed it after 5 minutes.

Once we reached the top, we took a break at the Roner Hut with sausages and fries as a children's portion. Here was the first view of the Dolomites, with the Peitlerkofel standing out dominantly. The remaining kilometers led across a vast high plateau of the Lüsner Alm. Tomorrow's tour is supposed to be quite tough, so Omma will leave early.
