On Tuesday evening, we had Grandma, Uncle, and Aunt visiting. Uncle brought a big load of wood that needed to be sawed and chopped. And I have never seen anyone chop wood as fast as Laurie's brother. He just cut through large logs with one swing. We had all the tree trunks chopped and stacked in 2 hours. It would have taken others a whole day for sure. In the evening, we went to another one of Laurie's brothers and already celebrated Christmas a little bit there because they don't see each other often since they live far apart. There was a big turkey and lots of ice cream, and even a few small gifts :)

Yesterday after work, John and I looked for a Christmas tree in the forest. I always wanted to do that... Walk in the forest with big snowflakes, cut down a nice tree, and bring it home. When we got home, we realized that the tree is a bit misshapen ;) but now we've hung so much decorations on it that you can't tell. Yesterday, the brother of Grandma also came, and later the Grandpa will stay overnight, so we had 12 people for breakfast today. Everyone slept in every available room ;)
