Happy Birthday

For my birthday, we treated ourselves to a beautiful Airbnb apartment. It was on the 5th floor with lots of windows and a beautiful interior. That was the only thing I knew about my birthday, the rest was all a surprise. The day started with a delicious breakfast in a cozy cafe :) The biggest surprise was when we stopped at a leather workshop. Oli organized a leather workshop for me! Step by step, the workshop leader guided us through the whole process of working with leather. I was able to make a wallet myself :) Oli made a passport case for himself. After very exciting and informative hours, we had a great result :) Then we treated ourselves to a drink before we had the best dinner in a long time. For dinner, we went to the best Italian restaurant. We had a salad for starters, followed by a little fondue. Yes, fondue in Hanoi ;-) For the main course, we had a Margherita pizza and for dessert, I treated myself to a Tiramisu! It was simply delicious and a successful conclusion to my birthday!!

The next day we set off on our motorcycle tour to the north.
