Punta Secca

We are going to Punta Secca, a small fishing village. The place is supposed to serve as a template for the novel Comissario Montalbano, whose house is next to the tower. In the summer, as I read, tourists are supposed to be brought here by the busload. Looking at the bus parking lot, it must be true. The place is amazingly well-kept, even the houses - all holiday homes - have remarkably beautiful walls around them. The bus tourists obviously bring money.

We stay at the camping site Agritourismo Capo Scalambri, located in the "German Corner". Apart from us, there is another motorhome with plates from RT, RV, HM and an Austrian. The only Italian motorhome has moved to the next neighborhood. Today it is really cool and cloudy, we will soon retreat.

The next morning, three stores come by - food and drinks delivered right to the doorstep. Not bad.

I take a bike tour to Punta Braccetto, passing three campsites that are open and apparently well occupied. Obviously, wintering places - now the home service makes sense 😀

I continue cycling through a nature reserve for a bit. The small forest and the dunes on the beach are really big, with a spring-like green color!

Today in the evening we will have fresh swordfish with vegetables from the home service. The weather looks better tomorrow, maybe we will stay for another day.
