Finally started

Even though the train was booked a long time ago, it's hard to believe. We have finally set off on our bike tour across - or rather, along, from north to south - Germany. Traveling by Deutsche Bahn, we left Cologne Central Station yesterday morning at 5:09 a.m. and arrived in Westerland almost on time at 12:40 p.m. From there, it was about 25 km to the northern tip of the island, called the "Ellenbogen". But these 25 km were challenging because we were facing a strong northwest wind with wind force 7. The rest was almost child's play, as it was mainly going in the other direction. From List, we took the ferry to Römö, where we had booked our first night in a hostel.
