Polar slow cross-country skiing

Last night it stormed and snowed. In the morning our car is covered in snow and Wilfried has a lot to shovel. Thank God there are huge clearing machines here - the excavator clears the road to our car in the morning.

In addition to the wonderfully snow-covered landscape and the picturesquely blown trees, a beautiful, extraordinary encounter in this absolute silence.

So after more than 4 km it turns out that the loop is actually much longer than stated in our plan... we decide to take a shortcut. A narrow path that is signposted for cross-country skiers with dogs, but not specially marked. At first, running doesn't seem that difficult, but the path turns out to be incredibly curvy and as a result the distance to our destination is actually much further than shown on the map. After more than 4 hours we reach our car pretty exhausted. It was still beautiful and very impressive!

The hot shower feels good and after dinner (couscous with vegetables), we plan tomorrow, which will take us to Inari.
