...and now I am definitely going to be a chef..

So, I had booked half a day at a cooking school and it was soooooo much fun...

On Saturday, I was picked up directly from the hostel and greeted with 'Wooohooo'. The person was in such a good mood that you couldn't help but laugh. I think it was a guy, but he was so flamboyantly gay that you had to be careful 😅 But definitely a funny guy. His name was Gap and he was our cooking teacher. In the bus, there were 2 Canadians, one German, one Australian, and once again 2 Dutch people.

First, we went to a market where we were shown all kinds of Thai specialties, and then we drove for half an hour to the cooking school.

First, we went to the school's own garden. Here, we had everything we needed for daily Thai cooking.

Then it started... First, we made spring rolls... I was never a fan of them, but these were really delicious. Then we could choose the main course, various curries and soups. Of course, I chose Pad Thai and a red curry and coconut soup. All in all, it was mega delicious and now I can finally start my career in the gastronomy as a Thai expert 😛 At least the next guys' night is secured 😂

I got along great with the 2 Canadians, Caroline and Marco, and we had planned to travel to Pai together the next day with scooters. At first, I wanted to take the bus, but I thought going with a group on scooters would be cooler 😉

In the evening, I went to the Chiang Mai Saturday Night Market and there were soooooo many people that the inner voice of 'I hate people' came back. So, I went to bed early because we wanted to start with the scooters at 10 o'clock on Sunday.

Mhhh lecker native Curry. Ja so Gewürzgurken wie in Dresden gibts da nicht :o)). Mitten im Dschungel kochen. Gabs da auch Paviane?
