Sicily

It turned out that we are already taking a ferry from Sicily to Livorno on May 30. Therefore, the planned tour around Sicily did not happen. I think we would have to extend our trip for a few more weeks to see everything properly - which we wouldn't mind, but 'certain' external circumstances are pulling us back north again... ;-)

As before, we are showing you more photos from the past few days that didn't fit in the previous posts.

After a 20-hour very calm crossing and with fantastic weather at sea (including our first sunrise on the open sea), the ferry arrives in Livorno ahead of schedule. Since we are lucky with our parking spot on deck, we are one of the first to disembark.

Since our trip to Italy focused on southern Italy, we don't stay in the north and leave Italy straight away.

This is also the end of our travel blog. Even though there was little text and many photos, we hope that our travel blog has given you an insight into our 'southern' experience.
