*Zion NP
We left the HOT Nevada and headed to Utah, where the temperatures were a bit more pleasant, but the sun remained loyal to us. We spent two days in this park with numerous hikes. A very, very beautiful park with red rock formations, many trees, and a beautiful autumn atmosphere. We were very surprised how crowded the park still was on a Monday in the supposed off-season.
This park quickly became my favorite park so far.
*Bryce Canyon NP
Next up was Bryce Canyon National Park. Here, we decided to do a three-hour hike in the afternoon. We combined various trails and saw many different parts of the park. Worth seeing were the Sunset Point and the so-called Amphitheater. We also decided to wake up very early the next day to enjoy the sunrise. It was simply wonderful! Great atmosphere, momentarily glowing rocks, and the wonderful sounds of nature!
