Yosemite Park - in search of big trees ;)

Another exciting day has come to an end. Today we visited Yosemite National Park. One day is definitely not enough to explore this incredibly vast park, but we were able to get a good impression of its beauty. Although we had to make a second attempt to find the famous giant sequoias, it was more than worth it. Simply indescribably huge. I think you can get a good sense of the size from the photos. We also spotted some wildlife. The most exciting sighting was our encounter with a bear. Even though you see signs everywhere saying 'Be Bear Aware,' actually seeing one is a matter of luck. That's why we had to make a full stop to take a photo :D We believe it's a relatively young bear, so one of us stood guard in case Mama Bear showed up. Thankfully, everything turned out fine.
