... I bought an umbrella today 😂
That's exactly how I imagine the rainy season. Even though the weather forecast for today was actually quite good and the sun even peeked out in the morning, it rained every half hour. And now it's been raining heavily for 30 minutes, like a thunderstorm. 😁🌧
Today, I explored the city and the waterfront is unparalleled! Since swimming in the sea is not allowed, there is a large artificial lagoon and a 50-200m wide green strip between the ocean and the street, from the harbor to the city limits. On this strip, there are various sports fields (for bouldering, with fitness equipment, tennis courts, a huge skatepark), playgrounds (with climbing frames or smaller water parks), and cafes... everything is new and well-maintained. Very cool!
I'm currently contemplating how to go out for dinner and shopping later because even an umbrella is useless in this rain 🤣
Today, I will probably be rooting for the AEV in my sleep as they face the accursed Munich team in the semi-finals. Maybe a miracle will happen, and I can still go to a hockey game this season (I'll be back for the finals 🤫)
