Time flies...

I can hardly believe that half of our time in Portugal has already passed! It feels like we have only been here for a week or two...

Leon and I have settled in well in Lisbon. We now mostly know when to take which metro line, we have our standard routes and favorite supermarkets. My internship is progressing slowly but surely and Leon has already completed most of his university courses. We have also had a few visitors: Leonie slept with us for a week and we went on lots of lovely trips in the city and the surrounding area. André was there for three days and went surfing with Leon. Last week Selina, a friend from Mannheim, was in Lisbon and we met a few times.

But we have also met some very nice people here. Most of them are Erasmus students who are very interested in trying out and doing lots of things. In that respect, we fit together very well :-)

Leon and I are planning a few short trips to other regions of Portugal in the near future. Right now we are on the bus to Odeceixe, a small town on the south west coast, where we will spend the weekend. We also want to go to Porto, the Peneda-Gerês National Park and Coimbra in the coming weeks. My biggest plan is to travel to Madeira by container ship in June. Let's see if that works out...
