On Tuesday the 10th of April, at 8:30 am, we left with Iderlan towards Quixeramobim School. Before that, Iderlan had to quickly pay some bills. The bank and the lottery are together here, and it's always very busy. Crazy world :D Because Iderlan knows everyone, we were allowed to go behind the glass and watch the hustle and bustle. They were counting a lot of money, and Ana's brother and nephew work there :D Ana's brother invited us for lunch at his house. After that, we went to the school and Carol, a local teacher, showed us everything. We briefly entered a classroom and answered some questions, and the children laughed a lot about the crazy people from another country :D Then we walked through the city a bit. We walked across a bridge and went to the town hall. Then we went to a shoe factory of Nike, Reebok. There was a warehouse sale, and Tim bought a pair of shoes. We talked a bit with a saleswoman who speaks English very well because she teaches English. Also, Iderlan's cousin works there. In Ana's brother's house, there is a very small boutique, and I bought a top with a Brazilian caption :D After the delicious meal, we went to Carol's house, ate dessert, and watched TV for a while. The next stop was the bus stop, where we bought a ticket to Fortaleza for Friday. We stopped so that Iderlan could buy a spare part for his car and then we had a coconut drink at his uncle's. As you can see, when you're with Iderlan, you always experience a lot! :D Finally, on the way back, we bought corn cake and returned home. Marta then came with Lorena and brought spaghetti, and we ate together. We were constantly so well taken care of :)
On Wednesday the 11th of April, we woke up and went to Marta's house, where we had lunch. At that time, they had a little lamb that was rejected by its mother, and they were raising it. Unfortunately, it died the next day due to breathing problems. Next, we went to Filio's house. He is a musician. His two sons also play the keyboard, accordion, and guitar. It was really fun to listen to them, and Tim and I even joined in. He tried to play the triangle, and I tried the drum. We were terrible at it :D It wasn't as easy as we thought, but it was a lot of fun!
