Welcome to Sydney

Uñt’ayata: 07.02.2020

Yay,

today the alarm went off at half past 7, so we could leave the campsite at 8:00 am sharp. We had to leave the campsite so early today because we didn't pay for the night before, as we didn't know how it worked. There was no reception like at the other campsites to pay. So we asked the other visitors of the campsite and they said that if we're gone before 10 o'clock, there won't be any problems. The ranger comes every day at 10 o'clock and checks everything.😉 So we saved one night.🤩

We drove from the campsite to Newcastle, parked Bobby by the water and had breakfast there. Unfortunately, only in the car because the weather didn't improve.😪 After that, we explored Newcastle a bit and then continued. In between, we took a short break to switch drivers and have a small lunch.

And then it was 'hello Sydney' 🤩! We drove 30 minutes across the city to find a parking space for Bobby. After we found a parking lot for $10 an hour, we realized that we were quite far from the action and walked 20 minutes to the Opera House in pouring rain. When we arrived there, we were both soaked again - except for our underwear! 😅 But it doesn't matter, we were at the world-famous Opera House. After that, we admired the skyline of Sydney, but because it rained so much and so heavily, we decided to go back to the car and continue driving. It's just not fun to look at things in so much rain, and you don't get any nice pictures either. 😟

So we went to our campsite, which is right by the sea, cooked dinner, tried to dry our clothes and tidied up our camper a bit. 🧹👗

Greetings from Coledale, Australia! 🥰

Yours Jojo 💫
