Empty streets, empty beaches

Hello!

After our bodies thought we had slept until half past seven today, we stayed in bed a little longer. Then we went for breakfast and ate in peace.

Afterwards, we went back to our room and sorted our backpacks a bit. We got rid of some clothes and other things that we won't need anymore on our further journey, or at least we hope so! 😂 But it was really time to say goodbye to a few things, otherwise our backpacks would have burst soon. 😅

Afterwards, we went to the guys' hostel to say goodbye. Both of them left Oahu, Hawaii today.

Then Mareike, Lucy and I borrowed a surfboard to take some 'cool' pictures on the beach. 😅 Unfortunately, as beginners, we couldn't surf because the waves were so high. 🙄

After that, we went to the hostel, changed clothes, and walked through the empty streets of Waikiki. We wanted to see if any stores were still open. However, here everything is closed except for the ABC stores.

After that, we went to the beach one more time and enjoyed the sun! 🤩🌞 Then we had Subway for lunch again, which we ate on the rooftop. 🥪

After that, we just chilled, took showers, and did nothing. 😴

In the evening, we cooked ourselves dinner again and ended the evening with a few beers and some residents of the hostel, plus Lucy. 🍻
