Autobahn Day, or the penultimate chapter of this beautiful journey

Done, back home.

Started early this morning after breakfast. We went north on the Felbertauernstrasse. That was also a beautiful road.

What wasn't so great were the oh so (not) beautiful places like Kufstein or Kitzbühel. They suffocate in traffic and tourism.

We then quickly continued to the German border. From there, only highway with a few smaller breaks. It was no problem until Munich. But unfortunately, I didn't enter the fastest route in the navigation system, but the shortest one. And that leads right through Munich. 😬😬

Thick city traffic, then eventually back on the highway. Endless traffic jam, if no traffic jam, then very slow traffic or stop and go, until just past Nuremberg, then the traffic got better, but then it started pouring. Horror!

The first 300 km were no pleasure and I had already resigned myself to having to look for another place to stay.

But it got better, we continued quickly. After 900 km, I reached Lohne at 10:00 pm.
