The hotel in Bangkok 'Banyan Tree' is highly recommended. The breakfast was exceptional and Anne couldn't wait and immediately went out with the Tuk Tuk after breakfast and experienced interesting things, such as getting a Botox injection in the main aisle of the shopping mall. We had booked our car for the transfer from Bangkok to Laem Chabang (which is the port of Bangkok and is about 120 km away) for 2:00 pm. It arrived very punctually, but there was no English communication, so it was difficult to understand each other. But he knew where to go. The drive was supposed to take 2 hours, but there was endless traffic jam, so we didn't arrive at the ship until around 5:00 pm. At dinner, you could tell that most passengers were arriving the next day. We sat outside on the deck and listened to live music until 11:00 pm. That was the perfect way to end the day. At that time, it was still 30°C.
