As we started this morning, all present, partly sleep-deprived but still in a good mood, we had the long bus ride ahead of us. During the journey, we amused ourselves by taking funny photos with quirky filters and finding something funny in everything. After our bus stop, we had to first familiarize ourselves with the subway network in London. Some of us managed better than others. Eventually, after a long search with the city map, we found our meeting points, which each person could choose individually. And now we were off. As Harry Potter fans, we were treated to a comprehensive city tour with descriptions and visits to the places that distinguish the film. This was crowned with a division into the four houses of the film series and a subsequent question round.
So it was never boring and everyone had the fun factor. After this exciting tour, which not only involved walking but also a subway ride, we were enticed by a promised shopping tour at Piccadilly Circus and the subsequent Oxford Street. Now we were on our own when it came to finding our way back. Luckily, we all ended up at our agreed meeting point, the Tower Bridge, in good time. We took some souvenir photos and then walked, with smoking shoes, to the London Underground and took it to our bus.
After an initially calm journey, the 'Party Bus' arrived in Hastings around 9 p.m. We all spent the evening in our host families.
