So we treated ourselves to a camping break and will be staying in Inverness for 6 nights. The accommodation was built fairly recently in a larger settlement, but probably also a bit cheaper. At the moment, it looks good, but I don't think it will last long. Unfortunately, the house doesn't have an outdoor power outlet! So it has to be charged through the window.
At least it was quite cheap, as Airbnb gave us a 200€ voucher for the lucky cancellation of the last booked accommodation by the host.
Moritz and Emil were supposed to share a fairly wide (I estimate 160cm) bed, which unfortunately didn't work out so well. This was also due to the fact that there is always only one duvet per bed and not per guest.
During the day, we visited a beautiful beach in Nairn that we already knew. We were also lucky because it was high tide and it comes in pretty fast and strong there, which always looks good.
But the green spaces in this town also looked a lot sadder than they did 2 years ago.
In the evening, I cycled to the Culloden Battlefield and Inverness.
Highlight: I was able to wear shorts during the day and while cycling! The last time I did that was in South Wales and it felt like many weeks ago.
