City tour LA

Uñt’ayata: 13.02.2020

Without breakfast, we took a taxi early this morning at 6:30 to the meeting point in Venice Beach. We had an appointment with Dennis, a German emigrant and our tour guide for today.

We first went to Downtown LA with Staples Center and Walt Disney Concert Hall, then we continued to Union Station with Olvera Street.

From Griffith Observatory, we had an amazing view of the whole city and the Hollywood Sign.

Then we went to the Walk of Fame.

Dolby Theater, Chinese Theater, and the Hardrock Cafe Hollywood are located side by side. It's crazy that the Oscars were only given here 3 days ago.

Lunch break was at the Farmers Market.

After a detour to Rodeo Drive, we continued through Beverly Hills and Bel Air to Santa Monica.

Passing our hotel, we reached our starting point in Venice Beach after 8 hours.

Since we spent enough time in the car today, we walked the 2.4 miles back to the Santa Monica Pier on the beach.

Just in time for the sunset, we had some burgers on the pier.
