Monte Albán is another one of the countless archaeological sites in Mexico. The area is located 10 km from Oaxaca City and was inhabited by the Zapotecs between 800 BC and 900 AD.
Fortunately, I arrived there at 9 o'clock when there were still very few people. The Plaza Grande is particularly impressive because of its size. After 3 hours of walking around, going up and down stairs, and reading information panels, I returned to Oaxaca and tried to plan my next stops - the agony of choice 🤔
