Tag 1: Long journey

December 17, 2018: I was so excited that I had a sleepless night. But the suitcase was packed and nothing could stop us.

At check-in, the first surprise came when we were allowed to use the entrance for business guests. Because Sabrina made a last-minute upgrade. We took off with Air Canada to Toronto at 9:25 a.m.

At first, I was overwhelmed by the technology and the space I had available. At the same time, I was impressed by how attentively and courteously we were served with food and drinks.

After our arrival in Toronto, we were able to enter the USA directly with some difficulties with the automatic control of passport and fingerprints. From Toronto, we headed to Miami with a one-hour delay.

Arriving in Miami, we were allowed to choose our booked rental car in the parking garage (row 7) and reached our hotel in Islamorada at around 11:00 p.m. local time after driving 125 km towards Key West. Completely overwhelmed by all the impressions of the journey, I just wanted to go to bed.
