Art and the Duration of Sunsets

Uñt’ayata: 10.06.2023

To start the day, a coffee in the hammock, along with a nice muesli with a Swedish apple and blueberry yogurt and apple cream. Strengthened, the journey continued north. On the way to Mora, we met the Veggie Pig at a wood museum, and in Mora itself, the world-famous Dalarna Horse. In general, there is a lot of art to see here, which is comparable to playing the Eurovision Song Contest-winning song 'Tattoo' (which is not at all my song).

On the drive along the Inlandsvägan, we also occasionally crossed paths with the Inlandsbanan, a short puzzle game between the two of us, guessing how and which lights would blink, if a train were to come. We concluded that the top one probably always blinks, and when a train crosses, the two lower ones may join in, inshallah... ;-)

Slowly, mountains appeared on the horizon, along with the warning signs for snowmobiles. There is still some snow on the mountains, which caused a momentary scare for Della. Well, a month ago, there was still snow everywhere here, but now we are enjoying the wonderful sunshine and the pleasant 20 degrees.

Since we found another promising place near our route on the app, we decided to drive there. Once again, it is a wonderful spot right by the lake, with a table and bench, as well as perfect hammock trees.

Here too, we were able to marvel at the sunset directly over the lake, and hey, you can do everything there, tidy up, do the dishes, have a nightcap, and the sun still hasn't disappeared below the horizon... Anyway, off to bed, closing your eyes is really difficult with the view out the window directly onto the lake.
