08/20 (Sunday)
A last breakfast with a view of the Hardangerfjord before the next fjord part of our trip to Norway. The object of our desire: Naeroyfjord, approx. 90 km and 1 1/2 hours away. As usual, Michel fell asleep at 9 and didn't wake up until we arrived in Bakka. I found out about today's camping site (Naeroyfjord Camping) through a travel blog and even made a reservation as a precaution. And it paid off: with a parking space right on the fjord, it couldn't be any closer. I could jump out of the car straight into the water. It is very quiet because it is remote and can only be reached via a very narrow and winding road. This probably puts off most travelers with caravans and larger motorhomes. It's wonderfully idyllic here and we've already paid for two nights. Maybe we'll stay here one more night.
In order to take it easy, we decided to postpone the planned hike until tomorrow and go for a run each ourselves. This is ideal here because there is a path directly along the fjord and you only share the road with a few goats and a few cars.
I would already say that this is our most beautiful stop on the trip. But I would also like to be proven wrong.
