On Saturday we set off with the other girls on a new adventure. Our destination was Shepparton, where we found a new accommodation and new work. It was a 7-hour bus and train ride from Mildura. But the trip went by quickly and we arrived in Shepparton in the evening at the train station. Then we had to walk to our accommodation for 30 minutes. We were all so excited and hoped it would be good. When we arrived, we were all very happy that we had nice houses, the boss seemed very nice, and it wasn't a disappointment at first sight. First we settled into our rooms, then went shopping. Next Wednesday is our first day of work, packing apples.
Sunday was New Year's Eve already, since we didn't buy everything the day before, we went out again, it's always a 20-minute walk to the nearest supermarket. We had planned to make a 3-course menu in the evening, with each of us contributing a different part.
We had a very delicious meal in the evening, drank, played games, and simply enjoyed the evening together. It was a very nice and funny New Year's Eve. At 12 o'clock we went out onto the street because we thought we would see something, but there was simply no one in sight. I guess it's not common here.... Happy New Year to all of you 🥂🎉
