After breakfast, we headed straight to the fields.
The first opponent was Austria - my second nationality.
I was looking forward to it. I saw and knew some of them from the 2016 World Cup in London with the men's team.
Finally, it started here at 11 o'clock. The game was close at first, but after the second point, we were able to pull away and went into halftime with a score of 8-3.
The final score was 15-7.
After the game, we went back to the hotel to regenerate briefly. Before we played against Canada at 3 pm (8 am German time). One of the tournament favorites!
It was really intense here. Canada is one of the favorites for the top 3. It was an exciting and hard-fought game, which ultimately was our first defeat.
We ended up separating with a score of 9-15.
After the game, we went back to the hotel, took a shower, ate, and regenerated.
Today we will meet the team from Japan quite early, who are also among the favorites.
Unfortunately, it will not be broadcasted.
