somehow it wasn't enough yet: the later the evening, the more music could be heard from the historical town center all the way to this quiet neighborhood by the beach. And even though I'm already a bit tired, the sounds and drums motivate me to go out again (the thirst is also a factor). It was definitely worth it. Here, there are about 8 professional musicians rocking the whole sand court. People are dancing, drinking, swaying, and the atmosphere is lively but less aggressive than yesterday at the Samba on Copacabana Beach, which seemed to heat up people's emotions. No police in sight either - very peaceful. There was also artisanal cerveja (beer). Everything is open air and free - the surrounding bar owners are happy about it.
