Santa Cathalina/Panama City

Happy new year to everyone :)

So my Trip is already coming to an end and I am currently waiting for my bus in San Jose.

Just before my last part of the tour. After Boquete, we went to Santa Cathalina. There we stayed at a surf camp right by the beach. That's mainly what we did. Relaxing at the beach and going on a snorkeling trip where we saw a lot of turtles and sharks - among other fish. It's always fascinating to see the world underwater.

Actually, I wanted to go touch the turtles. But during the night, our place got broken into, so I lost my touchuswis, my wallet, and my credit card.

But everything has already been organized and nothing was lost.

Last Stop: Panama City. A huge city - perfect for my orientation ;). We took a bus to explore the city and especially the Panama Canal, which was very interesting and impressive.

Yesterday, we celebrated New Year's Eve on a rooftop terrace - unique. I just had a little less sleep, especially when I realized that the taxi driver dropped me off at the wrong airport.... After a short organization, I found a taxi driver who I mainly communicated with the words rapido rapido :))) It worked, and I managed to catch my flight to San Jose :)

Now we're heading to Samara, where I will start my language school tomorrow....

Hasta pronto
