Coffs Habour✅

Uñt’ayata: 29.03.2019

Yesterday we went to a small island where the flying foxes have their "hideout". Unbelievably many hung upside down from the trees and looked at us with their bulging eyes. A scream in the forest. But the spectacle was worth it.

For us, the journey continued to Coffs Habour on the same day, where we spent the day and explored the city. We walked along the harbor right by the water, briefly cooled off in the water, explored the Botanic Garden, where we occasionally encountered a cute animal (see picture) 🦎 and then went to the shopping mile. We then went to the next rest area where we had dinner and planned the next day.

Today we continued our journey northwards, our next destination is Byron Bay, which is supposed to be a beautiful city! We stopped halfway and spent the day relaxing on the beach under palm trees ☀️🙂🌴, where we then treated ourselves to a fresh cold shower on the beach. 🥶 but unfortunately, you have to do this occasionally to get rid of the sand from your body.

Arriving at the next rest area again, we were greeted directly by a kangaroo with a baby in its pouch 😍 I didn't want to get too close for a picture...

Greetings from down under
