Hey, Kristin, sind die schwarzen Treter doch nix? Oder suchst Du die Herausforderung eines schweren Rucksacks ;-)?

In the morning we arrive in Trujillo - a rather unremarkable city at first glance. I drop off my laundry at reception and then we have a few minutes in our rooms before we meet for breakfast. We walk for about ten minutes, crossing the Plaza Mayor and seeing the Catedral de Trujillo.
Although I'm a little under the weather, I need some exercise. Combined with the fact that I really miss training, I set off on foot with Simone to the mall in Trujillo - a 30-minute walk that confirms that, apart from the Plaza Mayor and the surrounding streets and buildings, Trujillo is quite unremarkable. In fact, I find exactly the shoes I had already chosen in advance in the mall, and they're even cheaper than in Germany. Of course I had to snap them up. But running will have to wait a few days. In the mall's pharmacy, I stock up on medication in my broken Spanish and start treatment right there.
In the evening we treat ourselves to a break in the hotel, during which I finish editing my Ecuador video (Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C6fBwY2rgGSUUZ7Euwsj2Kks7h1Mc0syxBoc_o0/?igsh=MTE1Yzc0Yzdnejhqbw==). On Alina's recommendation, Callie and I head to a pizzeria where we share a calzone. It's already dark outside and we head back to Plaza Mayor, where we browse in a drugstore (similar enthusiasm to the supermarkets in the previous cities). We decide to have a spa evening, so we buy all kinds of things. On the way back to the hotel we buy some pastries from the trunk of a parked car and walk home. We meet Alina and Teo and invite them both to our relaxation program. The rest of the evening is quiet and we treat ourselves to a long sleep.
