After a peaceful flight, well, apart from the baby four rows ahead and the two toddlers (Nina and Anna) right next to me, we land in the 23 degree warm Arabic state at 8 p.m., with a significant delay. Part 1 accomplished!
As expected, everyone rushes out of the plane. I think for the same reason as always: ?????? why the hell?! Anyway. By the time the parents of the kids had gathered all their belongings (2 laptops, 4 neck pillows, 2 headphones, 2 kindergarten Etihad shoulder bags with panda design, etc.), half the plane was already empty and I could calmly disembark. Without the fleeing fellow passengers.
Oh, the next flight delay is already announced: instead of flying at 9 p.m., we will continue towards India at 10 p.m. So, I can take it even more relaxed. But first I have to tackle the seemingly 5 kilometers of walking through the countless shops with all imaginable world brands on the shelves! So, just follow the yellow arrows with the goal: Gate 45. Buy some snacks (on the plane there was lamb with rice and rice salad = to all the chefs in the world: did you really not come up with anything more original?!), a gummy sandwich and the typical cheesecake. All in handy mini format.
So I had to give my stomach something to eat and bought a sandwich and a healthy drink at a stand. Payment in US dollars; change in chocolate! No joke.
The delay has something good too: I can write to you. Smile
