We took the night bus to our last stop in India. Early in the morning, we arrived in New Delhi and later also at our accommodation. After getting our room, we catch up on some much-needed sleep.
On the streets, there are now Indians selling books one after another. We take a tuk-tuk and go to the Red Fort. Along the way, there is a market that attracts many visitors. We stroll through the large grounds of the red complex before making our way through the market. There is so much to see because you can really find everything here. From pants to spices to old kettles, cables, and all kinds of other very antique-looking knick-knacks. The selection knows no bounds. Finally, we reach the Jama Masjid Mosque. There is also a very good restaurant here in Old Delhi that we absolutely must visit. Despite its hidden location, we search for the recommended place. We squeeze through a tiny side alley and take a seat at the inconspicuous insider tip and are not disappointed. We walk back to the hostel through the bustling alley.
We sleep in half on our last day and wake up for lunch.
On our last evening, we go to Connaught Place and stroll through the nice streets lined with shops. However, it is time to pack our backpack and prepare for the next journey.
This time it takes a bit longer.
