The early bird and so on...We start at half past 7 am today, as we not only have a long journey ahead of us, but also want to visit Europe's largest dune. We arrive shortly before 9 am. Few tourists, enough parking spaces for the car and caravan. It was really worth being here so early. After the forest, a huge pile of sand lies in front of us. Impressive... Like a desert. Philip and Mama try to climb up. Papa and Jule take the stairs. The view is hard to describe in words. On one side the sea, on the other side the forest, and in between lots of sand.
After countless photos, we continue towards Ardeche. We want to drive as long as possible, but there must be a stopover. We google the next campsite around 5 pm and end up at the Dutch Naturalist Camp after numerous super narrow streets. Well, Google didn't say that, but we always have luck. The very likeable owner, however, provides us with an alternative place to park with clothes on. Mama is glad, the nudist parade is not her thing... 😆
Now we have landed for one night in a Dutch campsite commune. Very beautiful with a pool, family-friendly. The way here... Terrible... The paths became narrower, the trees lower. But Papa maneuvered us through... :)
