Wellington is the windiest city in New Zealand, with 173 days of wind. A backpacker in Wanganui told me about this. And guess what? My first day here was the calmest day of my entire trip! It was 22 degrees, sunny, and simply beautiful :D. As a result, I really enjoyed Wellington. The harbor is well designed, with lots of cafes, restaurants, and places to relax. However, on the second day, I really experienced Wellington. It was so windy that you had to struggle to move forward. I'm glad I had such a great day before.
