We started the day with sunshine and porridge with fresh strawberries.
We took a trip to the Art Deco city of Napier. The buildings were quite nice to look at ;) At the playground, E had fun with the material from the swing. Germany can really learn a lot from the facilities here, I'm always amazed.
Afterwards we went to the Church Road Winery for lunch, where we were able to book a place yesterday. The location was really cool and of course there was wine with the meal, for me a sweet Pinot Gris and Benny a red one.
Afterwards we walked with the Biggy right next door to the Mission Estate Winery. E slept through my little wine tasting and B, as the driver, only sipped once. One wine smelled really fruity and strong like lemongrass - delicious.
Our next stop was Elephant Hill Winery, very close to our Freedom Campground. It was very modern and the wine was also very dry. We like the cute ones better. But the view was great. This is the Sauvignon and Chardonnay area.
After all the wine today we went to the same place again and I took E to the beach and we built stone towers. Suddenly the wind caught up with us again - nope :D it was still warmer here and it was a super warm, great wine day. In the evening Benny decorated our camper with the fairy lights that I had packed, E loves it.
