Day 27 - 07/16/2024 Richmond and return flight

After checking in for our return flight yesterday, we received the news that our flight is delayed by 2 hours and will depart at 6 pm. Since we didn't want to spend the whole day at the airport, we went out in Richmond again, as it was not far from the hotel and airport.

First, we visited the Nature House and looked at some exhibits there, and the girls played something there. Then we did 2 very short trails. It was like a maze, with large bushes on the left and right and paths in between.

After that, we went to the Aberdeen Center and actually wanted to see a fountain with music. However, it was no longer there. Instead, there was a mini-exhibition of 'Mister Men, Little Miss'.

The plane from Germany arrived on time at 4:10 p.m. and we could watch the gangway docking. Now we are waiting for boarding...there will probably be further delay.
