From Oberkalbach to Zeitlofs

Uñt’ayata: 05.08.2019

Continuing through the Rhön, always towards the midday sun. After a day of hiking, the 'big' city of Fulda seems to be very far away.

On my way, I pass through some small villages, a sparsely populated rural area. But there is a lot of nature here. It is nice to walk through the cool forest, as it is getting warm again. In a wooded area, there are gigantic wind turbines that slowly rotate and create unreal sounds, very disturbing. Who plans and approves something like this?

Eventually, I arrive in Zeitlofs, now I am already in Bavaria. The village is located in the Sinntal. If the village were called Zeitlos, it would be a good place for philosophical thoughts😂.

My realization of the day: Germany is in large parts a beautiful, pleasant country to travel through, as it is sooo green, there are many paths, and they are also freely accessible.

My word of the day: muesli bar, without them, I would have had nothing to eat on my way during the day, as restaurants were closed or simply did not exist.

Im Süddeutschen ist "geloffen" statt gelaufen eine gebräuchliche Verbform - so wird dein Ort Zeitlofs doch wieder in deinem Sinne (Zeitlauf) interpretierbar 😉
