Unser erster russischer Schultag

Uñt’ayata: 23.10.2019

Today, for me, the night was over at 6. After a typical Russian breakfast consisting of блины (pancakes) and вареники (dumplings with cottage cheese), we went to school at 7:15 am. We arrived at 8:10 am because we had some пробки (traffic jam) and my exchange partner Aiman still had to go to the university. Finally, we were greeted by the school management and the folklore group 'Sabawa' in a festive manner.

Now Настя gave us a tour of the school building in German. Afterwards, the Russian partner school was introduced to us. We still had some time, so we also presented our school and our city Köthen to the tenth grade.

Exactly at the third and fourth hour, we started working on our project work. This initially involved creating a mind map in Russian and German. The topic was theater. After a good lunch, we went to physical education class, where German students were to compete against a Russian student team. We played different games and had a lot of fun. Afterwards, we went home. After a one-hour period of rest there, we took the маршрутка (a Russian mini-bus) to the Jump-House; a house full of trampolines. There, everyone could have fun and test their skills on the trampoline for the rest of the evening. After this very nice evening, everyone went to bed satisfied and excited for the next few days.
