Day 17: Tim - Bramming

Uñt’ayata: 12.09.2024

Hi There,

After enduring another rainy trip overnight, as I was completely soaked from the Ibos, the day began.

Out of caution, I visited the doctor, who were quite surprised to meet someone from abroad in a village with a population of 1000. Déjà vu from week 1, as I was eager to test the healthcare system…

The good news is, it's nothing serious, just water in the knee (edema), which will go away on its own after 2 weeks. Until then, just 3 Ibos a day to combat the inflammation..

After that, I survived day 1 by train. Tomorrow will be the ultimate challenge: biking in a foreign bus.

I hope I can manage that, be surprised.

In the evening, I indulged with Pizza Speciale, which is quite killing (probably me), majestic (probably the portion), and finally a local variant: Blauspritzringe. For those who don't know this, it’s worth trying. These are octopuses that are filled with a bucket of sangria, then killed and injected into a regular octopus ring with tweezers. Relatively simple, if you ask me.

Tomorrow will follow the last adventure to Sylt, and during the upcoming week, I will share my insights on the best hotels, food, and sections of the journey.

🙏🇩🇰🫡
