I'm at the airport waiting for my flight back to Germany. I'm a little tired because I didn't sleep much, but I'm still rested from the week I had after the Camino and come back from vacation feeling very relaxed. I'm not used to something like that because I always try to do a lot on vacation and usually arrange my return flights so that I have to work straight away the next day. Now I'm coming back and have a few more days of rest. Of course I have a lot to do, but I'm happy to be back in Germany. After a Camino de Santiago you know again the simple things like having your own room or cooking in your own kitchen with your own utensils and spices. I'm not really looking forward to the weather and the cold, but I'll take the weather and everything else as it comes. I think this Camino has made me a little more resilient to precipitation. Things don't always go the way you want and there are a lot of things you can't influence, but what you can influence is your mindset and your attitude. I will continue to work on that. Now I'm looking forward to the flight. I booked a window seat so I can still enjoy the view.
I really enjoyed writing this blog and, first and foremost, it serves as a memory for me.
So I'll say goodbye for now and maybe I'll share a few more thoughts after some time :)
