January 12, 2020 - Day 17 - Napier, New Zealand

After a 4 1/2 hour drive (on the wrong side !!) for 321 km, which was very relaxed and took us through beautiful landscapes, we arrived in Napier at Hawkes Bay in the afternoon. There we were very nicely greeted by Wendy and Peter (Peter Pan also had a Wendy, didn't he?) at the wonderful 4-star Bed & Breakfast "119 on George", where we will spend the next 2 days. We have a small, very cute suite with a large bathroom there. Before we were invited by the two of them, along with the other couple of guests (there are only 2 rooms here), for a "small" drink on the terrace, we quickly fell into the pool at 28 degrees 🌞 outside temperature 🏊‍♀️.

In the evening, we took a short walk to the sea, where there was still some Thai food at Marina Parade 😋
