Chapter 5.6 - Dark Cave & Botanical Garden

Back from breakfast, I pack my bag for today in my room. I want to visit the Dark Cave and the Botanical Garden. Fortunately, it rained heavily yesterday. Today is probably going to be a sunny and beautiful day. I'm excited. By the way, the English breakfast was delicious again. I also had Ca phe Sua Da and a Banana Peanut Butter smoothie.

3:18pm

I am sitting at the Botanical Gardens, but I don't know if I can still do the Loop today. According to the internet, it takes at least 2 hours. I made the mistake of ordering food. It feels like the pig is just being slaughtered...

By the way, I met Kevin and Roisin, they were already sitting there when I arrived. However, they have already gone ahead because they want to do the big loop.

Earlier, I was at the Dark Cave around 12pm. I went on a zip line and took a kayak tour. It was really beautiful. I skipped the cave because I'm going to Paradise Cave tomorrow. Unfortunately, I don't have many photos because I didn't have a waterproof bag with me.

Currently, I have a bit of a headache because of my scooter's fuel tank. I still have 10km to go to the gas station and I'm already on E. The suspense is building.

Back at the homestay. Went to refuel again. Luckily, I caught up with Kevin and Roisin on the track. They basically escorted me to Phong Nha so that I wouldn't get stranded anywhere :) The loop was nice, quite hot, and I was sweating. I even had my camera with me this time. I think there are some cool pictures.

Now I'm taking a break and will have dinner soon. Then the day will be over.
