Regina - Calgary

Uñt’ayata: 20.04.2017

The crossing is relatively quick and you have already seen similar images. Pasture landscapes, wheat fields slowly awakening from their long and harsh winter months, and smaller cattle ranches.
But then we arrived in Calgary and a cool, impressive skyline appeared.

In the midst of Calgary Tower and right at the same intersection - our hotel.

And from here it gets really awesome. Our client really meant well with us at the end. The location is perfect, the room - amazing. I have held back with room posts, but now I can't help it. You really have to see this.
Dark spacious room,

Elegant two-sided bathroom

with a large glass shower and a rain shower as big as the footprint of a beer crate.

Incredible. You will love it here. But first, let's walk downtown.

Cool city, great affordable restaurants that already smell inviting from the outside. And then it happened, which is why Calgary was the host city of the Winter Olympics in 1988; it started to snow.

Really thick flakes.

Unfortunately, not visible in the pictures again.

So we went to a restaurant that we liked best and had a great meal there. There was braised Wagyu steak with some other stuff. Hmmmmmm.....

Their fridge is simply appetizing. Vegetarians look away now.

Feeling culinary happy, we went to bed. Tomorrow is Easter Sunday, so it's also a day off. We want to go to Banff National Park together.

Wart ihr auch auf dem Calgarytower? Ich konnte da nur schwer auf die Glasplattform gehen (;-/
